A thermocouple connector is a device used to connect two ends of a thermocouple to a measuring instrument or control system.
The connector is designed to ensure a good electrical connection between the thermocouple wires and to protect the wires from damage.
Tankii Thermocouple connectors are specifically designed to allow thermocouples to be quickly connected and disconnected from the extension wire. The connector pair is composed of a male plug and female jack.
The male plug will have two pins for single thermocouples and four pins for dual thermocouples.
RTD temperature sensors will have three pins.
Thermocouple plugs and jacks are manufactured with thermocouple alloys to insure accuracy through out the thermocouple circuit.
Thermocouple Type R, S, connectors use compensating alloys.
