Alchrome Alloy Wire (CrAl 20/5) for Heating Element

Nominal Analysis

20.00 Cr, 5.00 Al, Bal. Fe

Max contineous working temperature: 1250ºC.

Melting Temperature: 1500ºC

Electric Resistivity: 1.35 micro ohm/m

Has been used extensively as heating elements in industrial furnaces and electrical kilns.

Has less hot strength than Tophet alloys but much higher melting point.
