0.1mm 0.2mm 0.02mm Nichrome alloy UNS N06003 /Nr. 2.4869 DIN 17470 strip/foil

Alloy 80/20 is an austenitic, high-temperature resistant Ni-Cr alloy. It is resistant to oxidation and shows almost constant electrical properties within the entire application temperature range

NiCr 8020 (2.4869) is used for electric heating elements in home appliances and industrial furnaces. Typical applications are flat irons, ironing machines, water heaters, plastic moulding dies, soldering irons, metal sheathed tubular elements and cartridge elements.

NiCr20/80 foil

1 Introduction
 
The Nichrome chemical composition is nickel, chromium and ferrum, it used at operating temperatures up to 1200 degrees. Its chemical composition gives good oxidation resistance, especially under conditions of frequent switching or wide temperature fluctuations. They are used for electric resistances of appliances or for application of industrial furnaces.

3. Core properties of nichrome foil:

High resistivity: As an electrical heating alloy, its electrical resistance is much greater than that of ordinary metals.

Excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance: It forms a dense protective chromium oxide film at high temperatures.

High-temperature stability: It maintains its shape and properties at high temperatures and is not easily softened or deformed.

Excellent mechanical properties: It possesses a certain strength and ductility.
