Nickel Aluminum alloy wire is mainly used as substrate material in arc spray. It has such advantage: dense coating, high temperature oxidation resistance, resist thermal shock and anti-abrasion performance, high bond strength (over 55MPa). As the underlying material, it is mainly used in surface spray of shaft, plunger and paper dryer, sprayed ceramic coating on the metal parts. It is also can be used as working coating. Especially in second spraying, when old coating is not able to be cleared off, metco 8400 wire must be used.
